Licence Renewals
Application for Licence (Renewal)The Property Agents Board (the Board) is the statutory authority responsible for the property agents in Tasmania.
The Board has determined that the licence period is 1 July to 30 June each year. In April each year the Board forwards the necessary paperwork to all eligible licensed property agents to apply to renew his or her licence. Property Agents are required to complete and return the Application for Licence (Renewal) form Disclosure and Declaration form, prescribed fees and any documents or information that the Board requires by 30 April. If the Property Agent has completed their required CPD then the CPD declaration form should be submitted. A Property Agent has until 30 June to complete their CPD requirement and submit the declaration. Every Property Agents who is eligible to renewal their licence is emailed an Application for Licence (Renewal) form, a Disclosure and Declaration document, a CPD declaration form, an invoice and an information memo explaining the process and relevant time frames. Property Agents - Conducting Business
Property Agents conducting business receive a bundle of renewal documents comprising an Information Memo, Tax Invoice, Application for Licence (Renewal). The Property Agents conduct business that are individuals (not a company) will also receive the CPD declaration form.

Property Agents receive a bundle of renewal documents comprising an Information Memo, Application for Licence (Renewal) form, Disclosure and Declaration form, Tax Invoice and CPD declaration form.
Lodgement
All applications and fees must be lodged with the Property Agents Board by 30 April 2021. Late fees apply for the late lodgement of licence applications (that is, received after 30 April 2021).
Applications can be lodged by mail to Property Agents Board, Level 1, 15 Victoria Street, Hobart 7000 or preferably via email to board@propertyagentsboard.com.au. Applications cannot be regarded as having been lodged unless they are correctly completed (with all required accompanying documents), signed and the correct fees paid.

The Application for Licence (Renewal) form which should be checked, and any incorrect information amended.
The Application for Licence (Renewal) Disclosure and Declarations form must be completed and returned. The Application for Licence (Renewal) Forms and Fees must be received by 30 April 2021. All individual Property Agents are required to complete CPD as noted on the Application for Licence (Renewal) form. Property Agents must complete their CPD requirements by 30 June 2021. |
