Application for Licence (Renewal)The Property Agents Board (the Board) is the statutory authority responsible for property agents in Tasmania.

Every Property Agent who is eligible to renew their licence is emailed a licence renewal document. This year there are two ways that property agents can lodge their renewal documents either Online or Paper. OnlineThe Board has designed an online portal for property agents to complete the disclosure and CPD declaration aspects of the licence renewal process.

PaperProperty Agents still have the option to complete a paper based Application for Licence (Renewal), disclosure and CPD declaration.
The Application for Licence (Renewal) will be emailed to all property agents. Click on the buttons below to access the disclosure and declaration form and CPD declaration. An invoice will be emailed mid-April 2022 to indicate the fee payable and the date that the fee is to be paid. Licence fee payment is via EFT or BPay or cheque. Property Agents - Conducting Business
Property Agents conducting business will receive an Application for Licence (Renewal) via email to the property agent managing the business.

Property Agents receive via email their personalised Application for Licence (Renewal) form. This form contains all licence information and details of the CPD condition.
The Disclosure and Declaration form and CPD declaration form can be downloaded (see above). An invoice will be emailed to each individual property agent mid-April 2022 which will indicate the amount payable and the payment due date. Lodgement dates
All Disclosure documents must be lodged with the Property Agents Board by 30 April 2022. Late fees apply for the late lodgement of licence applications (that is, received after 30 April 2022).
Licence fees are to be paid by the date indicated on the invoice (please note invoices will be emailed mid-April 2022). CPD and other information or documentation should be submitted by the due date indicated on the licence condition. Information can be lodged via the online portal; via email to board@propertyagentsboard.com.au; or by mail to Property Agents Board, Level 1, 15 Victoria Street, Hobart 7000.
Completing Paper Forms

The Application for Licence (Renewal) form should be checked, and any incorrect information amended.
The Application for Licence (Renewal) Disclosure and Declarations form must be completed and returned.
The Application for Licence (Renewal) Forms must be received by 30 April 2022.
All individual Property Agents are required to complete CPD as noted on their existing licence and reiterated on their personalised Application for Licence (Renewal) form.

Key Points to Note
Every licence holder receives their own Application for Licence (Renewal) documentation. The renewal can now be lodged through the online portal or by returning paper forms.
Any incorrect information should be amended.
Failure to complete any section will result in the form being returned for completion by the applicant.
Declarations of CPD should be submitted only once the CPD is undertaken.
