The Application of electronic Signatures (e-signatures) is becoming increasingly more common for the property industry in Tasmania.
Part 2 - Trust Account Records of the Property Agents and Land Transactions Regulations 2017, reference the signing of documentation associated with trust accounts. Historically, the Board has required a physical signature to be applied, however, e-signatures are now acceptable on audit reports, monthly reconciliations, trust account reports and trust account receipts.
