Mutual Recognition

Mutual Recognition of Licensing

The Mutual Recognition legislation enacted by the Commonwealth and each State/Territory Parliament in 1992 and 1993 entitles people who are licensed in any other State or Territory to also be registered in an equivalent category in Tasmania.

The procedure is that the person who is licensed in the other state or territory may lodge a written notice with this Board seeking to be registered in connection with the equivalent occupation in accordance with the Mutual Recognition principle.
